The Bar exists to be a safe, respectful, and family-friendly place to train. Our culture is built on personal responsibility, mutual respect, and shared ownership of the space. By joining, you agree to uphold the following principles:

  • Family Environment

This facility is part of a family-focused space (Strand Adventures). Language, behavior, and conduct should always reflect that reality.

  • Respect for Different Training Styles

Members train for different goals, using different methods. No training style, program, or approach is “better” or “worse” than another. Everyone deserves space to train without judgment or commentary.

  • Safety First

Train within your abilities. Choose appropriate weights, movements, and progressions. Be mindful of others, shared spaces, and potential hazards. If something feels unsafe, stop. For true emergencies - Dial 911, then inform management if not present.

  • Shared Responsibility

Keep walkways clear. Put equipment away properly. Sanitize and wipe down what you touched. Clean up after yourself. Leave the gym better than you found it.

  • Ownership of the Space

This gym works because members take pride in it. Treat the equipment, facility, and each other with care and respect.

Closing Statement

Our goal is to create an environment where people can train consistently, confidently, and independently—while knowing they’re part of something respectful and supportive. Thank you for helping make this a place where everyone can train! See you at The Bar
